The Dyfi Osprey chick has been successfully tagged ready for its migration.

Vicky King, a full-time Research Project Coordinator at IBERS, and regular volunteer with the Dyfi Osprey Project, said:
“The male osprey chick is in good health and weighed 1,415 grams and is expected to fledge in approximately 10 days time.

We will be enthusiastically following the bird on migration - he will probably start his journey to Africa in early September."
