“The student voice is extremely important at Aberystwyth, and a core part of student life and I congratulate the officer team on driving and delivering an excellent student experience for all our students.”

Also speaking before the winners were announced, John Glasby, Chief Executive of Aberystwyth University’s Students’ Union said; “I am delighted that AberSU has been shortlisted for several national awards, particularly Higher Education Students’ Union of the year. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of staff and officers who have endured a difficult 18 months as we attempt to turn the organisation around and make it fit for purpose for future students. We still have a long way to go, but much has already been achieved and it is very pleasing to see this recognised by our peers.”
