Chris Lynch

Chris is a member of the Aberystwyth University Lived Experience Advisory Panel. He brings lived experience of anxiety, depression, psychosis, autism & ADHD.

Chris is particularly interested in contributing to research or teaching on peer support, co-production, lived experience roles, addiction, self-harm and suicidality, healthy weight management, food insecurity, social eating, community engagement, crisis care and alternatives to inpatient admissions.

Chris has experience as an advisory group member, interview panellist, peer researcher, co-author, associate visiting lecturer & NHS non-executive director.

He joined the panel because he was interested in working on funding applications/projects that will look to improve outcomes and understanding and wants to help embed lived experience in plans for the work and provide opportunities for the advancement of peer/lived experience research.
