Menopause Support

The menopause has long been stigmatised, leading to shame and embarrassment leaving many to suffer in silence. Fortunately, there is now a shift towards a "change" for good, notably instigated with the recent Davina McCall documentaries on Channel 4 highlighting the problems that women face and bringing the menopause fully into the public domain.

Questionnaire

Peri/Post/Menopause Questionnaire: Dr Helen Marshall (IBERS) hem@aber.ac.uk

I am interested in the opinions and experiences of ALL AU staff (regardless of sex, gender identity or gender expression) relating to the peri-/post/menopause. As part of my drive to improve the support AU provides to peri-/post-/menopausal women I have created a questionnaire which shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes to complete. Please can you spare the time to complete the survey by clicking on the link below:

Support Group

We have established a AU peri-/post-/menopause support group for all staff and students; this will serve as an opportunity to share experiences and provide a safe supportive environment.
