Events – Mid-Wales Business and Innovation Exchange
How prepared is your business for tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities?
The Mid- Wales Business and Innovation Exchange hosted by Aberystwyth Business School and AberInnovation, aims to give our regional businesses the opportunity to interact with experts in their field to overcome any worries about the pace of change in today’s business world.
The event will take place on 22nd April at the Arts Centre at Penglais with optional tours of AberInnovation and the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences (IBERS) at Gogerddan and the Smart Bungalow for assisted living – creating a dynamic setting for networking, discussion and collaboration.
Talks and workshops will give delegates the opportunity to take away practical benefits for their organisations. Speakers and workshop leaders include experts from Sudo Cyber; Pugh Computers and Nidec Drives amongst others.
The range of business support projects that Aberystwyth Business School and the wider University offer will also be shown, including consultancy, short courses, and collaborative innovation from our experienced academic and practitioner staff. This includes tours of the Smart Bungalow where the use of AI in assisted living showcases some practical uses of artificial intelligence at home. Tours of AberInnovation and IBERS will showcase the world-class expertise and facilities available for the food & feed industries to deliver innovation from ideas through to production.
There will be opportunities to network with delegates and exhibitors, including organisations such as Business Wales, FSB and more, with the focus on showcasing what we have to offer as a region, connecting businesses and overcoming needs gaps ) in a volatile and uncertain world.
Businesses are welcome to attend as guests or to exhibit, providing an opportunity to showcase their expertise whilst connecting with potential suppliers, partners, collaborators and customers.
