Jonathan joined Aberystwyth University in July 2018 as a Lecturer in Business & Management with an additional responsibility to deliver the Welsh medium provision. Jonathan is also currently the Managing Editor for the 'International Journal of Hospitality and Event Management' (IJHEM) and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of the ‘Event Management Journal’ (EMJ).
The title of his PhD completed at Aberystwyth University was 'A comparative analysis of consumer and industry perceptions of sports and entertainment event VIP/Hospitality tickets: Critical enhancement of a purchase journey map and establishing willingness to pay'.
Originally from Cardiff, Jonathan is an alumnus of Cardiff Metropolitan University, graduating with a BA (Hons) Events Management (2010), PgC Applied Social Research (2014), MPhil (2014) and PGCE PcET (2018). In 2012, Jonathan launched his event evaluation business, Event Rater Ltd. The company won the 'Best Digital' award at the Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards 2014 (Wales and South West England Heat).
