Pre-Registration

If you are taking a degree scheme which is taught jointly with another department you must ensure you meet their pre-registration requirements too.

The following are specific requirements for students taking single and joint honour schemes in the department.

Information Studies  (DIS)

The Department of  Information Studies will place advice for Pre-registration on the Blackboard site of the module ‘Undergraduate Information for the Department of Information Studies’. This advice will be available from Monday 14th September onwards. This module has a folder called ‘Pre-Registration’ which will include advisory information for study schemes and module requirements for 2026/27. You will then enter your chosen modules on your student record using the Pre-registration task by the end of Monday 21st September.  

Remember if you have any questions about Pre-registration, you can contact your personal tutor or the module coordinators. Your tutors may be available to hold individual meetings via Microsoft Teams or your questions may be answered via email.
