Pre-Registration 2024/2025

Geography and Earth Sciences

The following are specific requirements for students taking single, joint and major/minor schemes in Geography and Earth Sciences.

If you are taking a degree scheme which is taught jointly with another department you must ensure you meet their pre-registration requirements too.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with your scheme requirements (https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/study-schemes/deptfuture/Geography+and+Earth+Sciences/ )

On-line pre-registration will be open to students from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 18 April – Friday 26 April 2024The 15-17th April has been allocated as an official advising and consulting period prior to the pre-registration task going live on your student record.  In person pre-registration talks will take place for each degree scheme.  Please monitor your emails for the details of these talks.

Once the pre-registration task appears under ‘My Tasks’ on your student record, please select and submit your module choices. Please remember not to exceed 70 credits in a single semester.

  • The last two digits of the module code indicate how many credits it is worth e.g. GS31120 is 20 credits.
  • If a module runs across two Semesters, the credits are split equally across both semesters.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Students are advised to complete the process online through their student record as soon as possible and before Friday 26 April 2024
