Pre-Registration 2024/2025

Department of Law and Criminology

If you are taking a degree scheme which is taught jointly with another department you must ensure you meet their pre-registration requirements too.

The following are specific requirements for students taking single and major/minor/joint schemes in Law and Criminology.

We will be confirming your module choices on-line.  You will find general guidelines on the process on your record (the same one as you use to access your examination results) on the web.

You are responsible for ensuring that you comply with your degree scheme requirements,

(Schemes Database: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/study-schemes/deptfuture/Law+%26+Criminology/) and that the modules you wish to take are available next session (some modules are available in alternate years).  For information about particular modules please see the modules database:

https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/modules/deptfuture/Law+%26+Criminology/

A pre-recorded lecture and handout offering advice will be available to all students who are required to pre-register for 2024/25 on Blackboard. See ‘Pre-Registration April 2024’ at: DEPT-L-UG-O: Department of Law & Criminology Undergraduate Information. Students are responsible for engaging with this content BEFORE they pre-register.

On-line pre-registration will be open to students from 9.00 am on Thursday 18th April – Friday 26th April(Prior to this date you will only be able to view your record, not make any module choices).  Go on-line and complete the pre-registration page, submit your pre-registration choices then await verification (via email) from the relevant department(s).

Please consult with the relevant Blackboard pages for additional support via online or in-person drop-in sessions hosted by the scheme co-ordinators.
