Pre-Registration 2024/2025

Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies

If you are taking a degree scheme which is taught jointly with another department you must ensure you meet their pre-registration requirements too.

The following are specific requirements for students taking schemes in the Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies.

The Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies will place advice for pre-registration on the Blackboard site of the module ‘Undergraduate Information for the Department of Welsh and Celtic Studies’. This advice will be available from Monday 15 April onwards.

This module has a folder called ‘Pre-Registration’ which will include an advisory video and brief descriptions of all the modules for 2024/25. Please take note of the core modules for your degree scheme which are outlined in this video and on the Pre-Registration slides.

On-line pre-registration will be open to students from 9.00 a.m. on Thursday 18 April – Friday 26 April(Prior to this date you will only be able to view your record, not make any module choices).  Go on-line and complete the pre-registration page, submit your pre-registration choices then await verification (via email) from the relevant department(s).

Remember that if you have any questions about pre-registration, you can contact your personal tutor or the module coordinators. Your tutors will be available to hold individual meetings on Microsoft Teams or to discuss your questions by email. You are also welcome to contact the department directly by emailing cymraeg@aber.ac.uk.

Any general queries should be addressed to Student Administration Enquires.
