Accommodation For Clearing Students

If you are a new student to Aberystwyth University starting in September 2025, please follow the steps below to apply for accommodation.

Please note that we will try to accommodate your choices, accommodation is limited at this stage.

If required, there will be an opportunity to apply for a transfer in October - transfers are allocated on a first come, first served basis. More information will be emailed closer to the time.

Step One

The Accommodation Portal is an online service to apply and secure accommodation at Aberystwyth University.

Click on ‘Register’ to register your details using your personal email address and date of birth. You should use the same email address that you used to apply for your course.

Step Two

Click on the link that says Apply for First Year Accommodation.

This will take you to a form to fill in.

You need to have your UCAS reference number and/or student reference number.

After A-Level results day, we will start allocating students to rooms and we will email you when you have a room with instructions on how to accept and complete your contract.
