Flourish (Female Development Programme)

Flourish is the Careers & Employability Service’s annual female development programme – designed by women, for women.

Application for Flourish ’26–27 will open in October 2026.

Created to support final-year undergraduate students who identify as female, Flourish offers a unique opportunity to build confidence, develop your career narrative, and connect with a community of inspiring peers and professionals.

How can the programme help me?

The programme will support you to:  

  • Build Self-Awareness and Confidence
  • Develop a Personal Career Narrative
  • Develop Meaningful Connections
  • Explore Diverse Career Pathways
  • Set Clear Goals and Vision 

What will the programme involve?

Flourish consists of seven interactive workshops focused on building your confidence and skills, and will feature guest speakers, practical activities and networking opportunities.

All workshops will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 2-4pm on campus:

Am I eligible?

To apply for Flourish, you must: 

  • Be a final-year undergraduate student
  • Identify as female
  • Be able to commit to attending a minimum of 5 out of 7 workshops
  • Be willing to positively engage with the programme and committed to developing your confidence
