Jobs in the Local Area

Looking for part-time work in Aberystwyth or during the university vacations? The following resources advertise vacancies with local employers and can help you find opportunities that fit around your studies. Many employers recruit throughout the academic year, with additional opportunities becoming available during holiday periods.

In addition to online job boards, keep an eye out for vacancy notices displayed in shop and business windows around town, as many local employers advertise opportunities this way. Work Experience

Gaining work experience whilst at university is a great way to develop skills, build your CV, and explore different career paths. Industrial Year Placements

If your course includes an integrated year in industry, it is important to start looking for a placement as early as possible, as many employers recruit well in advance.
