I am a relatively recent entrant into higher education. After a period on the staff off the Welsh Academy Dictionary, I taught for 12 years in schools in West Yorkshire. Following my return to Wales, I worked as a freelance translator and lecturer in the School of Education, teaching trainee teachers and undergraduate modules as diverse as psychology and multiculturalism.
