YouGov’s First Welsh Poll: The Results
YouGov, the UK’s leading polling organisation, has established a Welsh panel. This breakfast seminar unveiled the findings of their first Welsh poll. The poll covers a host of highly topical political issues including voting intentions in the next UK general election, attitudes towards the candidates for the Welsh Labour leadership, and voting intentions in any forthcoming referendum on a move to law-making powers.
The results of the poll was presented and discussed by Wales’s leading political analysts: Richard Wyn Jones (Cardiff University) and Roger Scully (Aberystwyth University). Leading figures from YouGov, including YouGov President Peter Kellner, was also be on hand to discuss their survey methodology and the prospects for regular polling in Wales.
