New look Level E

This summer, Level E (2nd floor) of the Hugh Owen Library will be changing.

We will be moving staff and student spaces around to create a larger student space and more study spaces in the southwest corner of the library. The new student study area will have views over the town to the sea and will include 6 new group study rooms.

Using the library study rooms

We know it’s annoying if you want to use a library study room but they’re all booked up.

It’s even more annoying if the room is booked, but no one is using it.

Please cancel your bookings if you no longer need them – email is@aber.ac.uk – and we’ll free the room up for other students.  

Digital Skills in AI and Generative AI

A new ‘Digital Skills in AI and Generative AI’ questionnaire for students and staff is now available in the Jisc Digital Discovery Tool. This new questionnaire will help you to self-assess and develop your knowledge of AI in seven areas.

Registration for the twelfth annual Learning and Teaching conference is now open.

This year’s Learning and Teaching conference has the theme Equipping for Excellence: Pioneering Learning and Teaching Design and will be taking place between Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 September 2024.
