Departmental Rankings

There was an exceptionally positive response from our graduating students in the National Student Survey this year, with 100% satisfaction with Academic Support for Mathematics. We were also pleased to be ranked as the top Mathematics department in the UK for Teaching on my Course and Student Voice.

In this year's Guardian 2027 Subject Rankings the department rose to 13th place, top for Satisfaction with Teaching and with Feedback. In the Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2027, Aberystwyth Mathematics is top in Wales in the subject table, and top in the UK for Teaching Quality.
