Entry Requirements

Pre-sessional English	6 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 0.5 IELTS points. 12 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 1.0 IELTS points.
Undergraduate (Bachelors)	Matriculation Certificate: Advanced level with a grade of A, B or C International Baccalaureate: Grade between 28-36. European Baccalaureate: Grade of 65%-75% dependent upon course. UG English Language Requirements
Postgraduate (Masters)	Degree equivalent to UK Honours bachelor’s degree (2:2 minimum). However, some departments may require upper second class honours degrees (2.1) or relevant work experience. PG English Language Requirements
Research (PhD)	Ordinarily you will need a strong grade from your Bachelors degree (2:1 equivalent or above), and/or a Masters degree. You will also need to write a comprehensive research proposal as part of your application. It is advised to identify a potential supervisor in advance.
