Entry Requirements

Pre-sessional English	6 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 0.5 IELTS points. 12 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 1.0 IELTS points.
Foundation	International Foundation Programme (September -June) Bachillerato with minimum 65% overall and in relevant subjects. FastTrack International Foundation Programme (January – June) Bachillerato with minimum 75% overall and in relevant subjects.
Undergraduate (Bachelors)	Completion of the Bachillerato with an average grade of 85% Entry to the second year will be considered for students who have completed the Salida Lateral or Carrera Corta leading to a Diploma or Título Técnico (2-3 years) with an overall grade of 75% or 7/10 Entry to the second year will be considered for students who have completed the Título de Técnico Superior Universitario/Título de Profesional Asociado (2 years) with an overall grade of 75% or 7/10 Applicants with a recognised International Foundation Year will also be considered UG English Language Requirements
Postgraduate (Masters)	You will be required to have a relevant four-year Licenciado / Professional title from a recognised institution, with a grade of approximately 7.50 or above to qualify for Aberystwyth University's postgraduate taught programmes. However, some departments may require upper second class honours degrees (2.1) (e.g. School of Art) or relevant work experience. PG English Language Requirements
Research (PhD)	Ordinarily you will need a strong grade from your Bachelors degree (2:1 equivalent or above), and/or a Masters degree. You will also need to write a comprehensive research proposal as part of your application. It is advised to identify a potential supervisor in advance.

Aberystwyth Mexico Scholarship (Undergraduate)	£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies	Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship (Postgraduate)	£2,000 - £3,000 tuition fee discount	Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree will be eligible for a £3,000 discount. Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree will receive a £2,000 discount. Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
