Postgraduate Registration Timetable

Advising and Pre-Registration: All New Students

Advising for Study Schemes & Modules takes place online for all new students by completing the Pre-Registration Task on your Student Record. The Pre-RegistrationTask will be available to all new taught students from the Monday 14 September until Monday 21 September 2026. Students must take advice from their departments before completing the Pre-Registration Task.

Registration for on Campus Students

New Students

NEW STUDENTS should complete the Online Registration task via your Student Record on the web from Tuesday 22 September 2026.

Returning Part-Time Students

RETURNING PART-TIME STUDENTS should seek advice from the department(s) BEFORE completing Online Registration. The Online Registration task will be available on the Student Record from 9.00 am on Thursday 17 September 2026.

Distance Learning Courses

New Students

NEW STUDENTS - The window for Online Registration will open 9 days before the start date on your offer letter. You should complete the Online Registration task via your Student Record on the web.

Returning Students

RETURNING STUDENTS should complete the Online Registration task via your Student Record on the web from 9.00 am on 14 September 2026. Students should complete Online Registration by 5pm Wednesday 23 September.

STUDENTS WITH ANY QUESTIONS or anyone who needs help to complete the On-Line Registration task can come along to the Registration Help desk in the Hugh Owen foyer from 9am to 5pm Monday 21, Tuesday 22 or Wednesday 23 September. REGISTRATION AT OTHER TIMES OF THE YEAR - FOR ALL STUDENTS

If you are registering at any other time of the year (other than September) you are advised to contact your department(s) for advice on your module choices.

Your department will enter your modules choices on to your record, you will then need to complete the ‘online registration task’ via your Student Record on the web. The task will be available on your record 5 days before your start date and you MUST complete the registration task within 5 days after your official start date.
