Making changes to the information on your Student Record

Changing a Module, Study Scheme or Mode of Study.

I you wish to change your modules, study scheme or mode of study you can do so through your Student Record online by clicking on the 'Making changes to my Course' card.  Further information on making changes to your modules and study scheme is available on the Changing your Study Scheme or Modules web page.  

Changing an Address or Name or other Personal Details.

You can make changes to your address and personal details on-line through your Student Record by clicking on the using the 'My Personal Information' link on the banner at the top of your student record page.  Most changes can be made freely and will take place immediately however a change of name may require you to provide us with furthr information and additional documents.  If this is required you will be asked by email to your aber student email account.  Change of names are normally processed within 5 working days.

Reporting an error on your 'Student Record'

If you notice an error on Student Record and you are unable to change it yourself you can contact us by either clicking on the 'Rreport a problem' link at the very top of your Student Record page or alternatively email us on ugfstaff@aber.ac.uk .

Other activities which take place via your 'Student Record'.

During certain times of the year you will be asked to log on to student record to take part in tasks that you must complete:

  • Graduation task during April
  • August Summer Resit Assessments Registration during early July
  • Pre Registration in April/May
  • Online Registration for most students Online Registration will need to be completed during late September/October, however we have courses that start at different times of the year.  If you are starting a course outside of September/October you will find the Online Registration task appear on your record at the time your course is due to start.  All returning students are required to re-register every year during September through the Online registration task
  • Internal Resit Registration last two weeks of October 

These will all appear at the appropriate time under the 'My Tasks' link in the banner at the top of your Student Record page.  Please ensure you visit your Student Record regularly.
