Accommodation For Clearing Students

If you’re a new student joining Aberystwyth University in September 2026 through Clearing, please follow the steps below to apply for accommodation.

We guarantee accommodation for all students, and while we will do our best to match your preferences, some options may have limited availability at this stage of the admissions cycle.

If needed, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a transfer to a different accommodation option in October. Transfers are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and full details will be sent to you by email closer to the time.

Step One

Login to the Accommodation Portal .

The Accommodation Portal is an online service to apply and secure accommodation at Aberystwyth University.

Click on ‘Register’ to register your details using your personal email address and date of birth.  You should use the same email address that you used to apply for your course.  

Step Two

Click on the link that says: "To start your application for accommodation, please click here"

You will then be able to choose a hall and select your room from those available.
