Funding Opportunities

The Department offers PhD (typically 3 year fulltime) and MPhil (1 year fulltime) research degrees.  We have various funding opportunities (hyperlink: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/postgrad/fees-finance/calculator/), including our prestigious university wide AberDoc PhD scholarships (hyperlink: https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/postgrad/fees-finance/uk-eu/research-competition/), and several Departmental doctoral overseas scholarships for international students that will cover the difference between the overseas and UK tuition fees.
