Natural History Illustration: Fungi

A five credit practical painting course suitable for those learners who are undertaking field studies as well as learners who wish to broaden their skills in Fine Art. The course will cover a variety of techniques required to accurately depict different Fungal forms and their specific details and colours. The artwork of historical and contemporary artists will be discussed and analysed. Throughout the course demonstrations, group discussions and individual advice and assistance will be given. Specimens will be available to work from.
