Hooked on Wool

Have you ever wanted to learn the skills of working with wool and understand the different types of wool needed for different projects? Would you like to learn more about the Welsh wool industry? This modules gives you the background and history of the wool industry together with skills that introduce the crafts that were central to past generations. You will learn the traditional Welsh crafts of knitting, felting and making items from re-cycled material and wool. All projects will start with a demonstration and time will be built into the delivery for you to work on and synthesise your knowledge in the projects that you wish to explore further. Start collecting wool and crochet needles; you are in a for a fun time.
