French Intermediate Extra

This module is designed for students who, at an intermediate level, would like to improve and further their speaking and writing skills.

A wide range of activites are undertaken, such as practical language exercises, translation work into and from French and vocabulary-building activities. This will be delivered by commercially produced and in-house language materials from a variety of sources.
The module will also enhace their language awareness: it will put emphasis on conversation, but reading, writing and listening will be present in every class.
Students who successfully complete the module should feel that they have a better command of French and should be able to proceed to French Higher Intermediate.
