Profile
Rachel Carney is a poet and non-fiction writer based in Cardiff. Her poems, reviews and articles have been published in numerous magazines including Poetry Wales, Anthropocene, iamb and The Interpreter’s House. Her debut collection Octopus Mind was selected as one of The Guardian’s Best Poetry Books of 2023 and is published by Seren Books. She recently completed a PhD examining how ekphrastic poetry can help visitors to engage with art in museums, and her creative practice continues to explore the intersections between poetry and visual art. https://createdtoread.com/
