Tuition Fees for September 2027

Fee information for UK and Irish students

At Aberystwyth, our tuition fee for Home undergraduate students is the same as the Welsh Government maximum regulated fee. This fee can change annually as approved by Welsh Government and as a Home undergraduate student, this could mean a different tuition fee in each year of study. Any changes to the tuition fee will be communicated by the end of June before the academic year to which the change applies.

Home fee status applies to students from the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

The undergraduate fee also applies to Integrated Master’s programmes.

The current tuition fee for undergraduate Home students is £9,790/year. This could change for 2027 entry and current students and applicants will be informed as above.

Fee information for international students (including EU)

Please note Irish nationals will continue to be eligible for Home fee status and support by the Welsh Government under the Common Travel Area arrangement.

Most international students are eligible to apply for the International Accommodation Award, which means accommodation costs can be included in your tuition fees.

For international undergraduate students, fee levels are frozen at the level of entry for subsequent study years. This means you know exactly what your fee levels will be for the duration of your studies with Aberystwyth University. The below is the fee for each year of study.
