Entry Requirements

Level	Typical Entry Requirements
Foundation / International Foundation Certificate	International Foundation Programme 30-week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 60% overall and in relevant subjects. 15 Week: Higher Secondary Certificate with minimum 75% overall and in relevant subjects. Applicants must have an IELTS for UKVI or Trinity College SELT from a UK government approved test centre in order to get a CAS / Tier 4 Visa for a Foundation Course in the UK. Contact tesol@aber.ac.uk Applicants for a foundation or direct entry Bachelors programme are required to have completed their last period of study within a maximum of 2 years of the course start date at Aberystwyth.
Undergraduate/ Bachelors Degree	Academic: Candidates with exceptional scores in their HSC (grade A, 80%, 5.0 overall) and SSC (5.0 grade point) may be considered for direct entry into the first year of our undergraduate programmes. English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 6.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. See other acceptable proficiency tests. If you do not meet our requirements then we will consider you for our International Foundation Certificate Applicants for a foundation or direct entry Bachelors programme are required to have completed their last period of study within a maximum of 2 years of the course start date at Aberystwyth.
Postgraduate / Masters Degree	4 year undergraduate degree with 55% OR a 3 year degree PLUS a master's degree. Students with a 3 year Bachelors Degree may be considered for our 1 year Business Top-Up degree. English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 - 7.5, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. English Requirements	If you require help or assistance with your English then our International English Centre will be pleased to offer assistance and guidance. The Centre offers an intensive full-time course available before you commence your degree and provides ongoing support throughout the duration of your studies

Please note each course will require specific entry grades from the qualifications highlighted above. Some courses may also require an additional portfolio or interview.

Please note that all students domiciled in Bangladesh are required to pay full 1st year tuition fees for deposit as part of their CAS eligibility.
