Entry Requirements

Pre-sessional English	6 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 0.5 IELTS points. 12 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 1.0 IELTS points.
Foundation	International Foundation Programme (September -June) Successful completion of Bacheillerato with an average grade of 60% FastTrack International Foundation Programme (January – June) Successful completion of Bacheillerato with an average grade of 65%
Undergraduate (Bachelors)	For direct entry onto our three-year BA/BSc schemes they will require IB, A Levels etc. plus IELTS (or equivalent). If applying for a science-based scheme evidence of 70% in Mathematics in the Bachillerato is required. Applicants with a recognised International Foundation Year will also be considered UG English Language Requirements
Postgraduate (Masters)	You will be required to have a relevant four year degree or Licenciado/Professional title and we require different grades for a public university or other institutions. Most of our courses will require a UK 2ii degree or equivalent. UK 2ii equivalent: Licenciado / Professional title (when awarded after 4 years): 8.15 PG English Language Requirements
Research (PhD)	Ordinarily you will need a strong grade from your Bachelors degree (2:1 equivalent or above), and/or a Masters degree. You will also need to write a comprehensive research proposal as part of your application. It is advised to identify a potential supervisor in advance.

Aberystwyth Costa Rica Scholarship (Undergraduate)	£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies	Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship (Postgraduate)	£2,000 - £3,000 tuition fee discount	Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree will be eligible for a £3,000 discount. Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree will receive a £2,000 discount. Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
