Entry Requirements

Pre-sessional English

6 week Pre-sessional English

Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 0.5 IELTS points.

 

12 week Pre-sessional English 

Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 1.0 IELTS points.

Undergraduate (Bachelors)

Maturski ispit / Diploma o završenoj srednjoj školi (Secondary School Leaving Diploma): Typically between 4 and 5 

International Baccalaureate: Grade between 28-36.

European Baccalaureate: Grade of 65%-75% dependent upon course.

 

UG English Language Requirements

Postgraduate (Masters)

Degree equivalent to UK Honours bachelor’s degree (2:2 minimum). However, some departments may require upper second class honours degrees (2.1) or relevant work experience.

An 8 on the Montenegrin degree is equivalen to a UK 2:2. 

PG English Language Requirements

Research (PhD)

Ordinarily you will need a strong grade from your Bachelors degree (2:1 equivalent or above), and/or a Masters degree.

You will also need to write a comprehensive research proposal as part of your application. It is advised to identify a potential supervisor in advance.

Aberystwyth Montenegro Scholarship

(Undergraduate)
£2,000 tuition fee discount for every taught year of studies

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship

(Postgraduate)
£2,000 - £3,000 tuition fee discount

Students with an equivalent of a UK First Honours degree will be eligible for a £3,000 discount.

Students with an equivalent of a UK Upper Second (2:1) or Lower Second (2:2) degree will receive a £2,000 discount. 

Students must be self-funded and not receive any other scholarships apart from the International Accommodation Award.
