The University employs ambassadors to work on Open Days, Visiting Days and on Campus School events.
Your course may include an Industrial Year placement or, if not, you can select to take part in the Year in Employment Scheme (YES). Both the Industrial Year and the YES scheme offers you a fantastic opportunity to take a year out between your second and third year to work in an organisation in the UK or overseas. Both schemes will provide rewarding and worthwhile experiences, personally and professionally, and can help you to stand out from the crowd in a very competitive job market. The University’s Career Service will help you to explore your options and secure a suitable work placement.
