House of Lords 150th Anniversary Reception
200 alumni and guests came together to celebrate this special milestone in our history in the company of the Chancellor, Lord Thomas of Cwmgïedd. Guest speaker, alumnus and fellow, Baroness Kay Andrews OBE spoke fondly of her time at Aberystwyth.
Zumbathon June 2022
Over 70 people joined Aberystwyth University Sports Centre Zumba team to mark the 150th anniversary with 150 minutes of Zumba. All proceeds were donated to charity and split between the Welsh Air Ambulance and the Ukraine Appeal.
Aberystwyth Founders' October 2022
Aberystwyth University marked its 150th anniversary on Friday 14 October with a Founders’ Day procession to kick the bar on the Promenade followed by a celebratory breakfast at The Great Hall.
