Profile

I am an Academic Skills Tutor for Welsh-medium students and am responsible for providing academic support to students, through provision on modules, group sessions and one-to-one sessions. I joined the University in 2007. I lectured in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences and the School of Education, before working as a Branch Officer for the Aberystwyth University Branch of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. I started in my role as an Academic Skills Tutor in 2019.

Originally from Furnais in North Ceredigion, I went to study in Scotland, Ireland (Armagh in the north and Dublin City University) and Swansea. I am a member of the Gwasg Honno committee and have contributed to two books about the history of Cymdeithas yr Iaith.
