Entry Requirements

Pre-sessional English	6 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 0.5 IELTS points. 12 week Pre-sessional English Will improve your English Language ability by the equivalent of 1.0 IELTS points.
Foundation	International Foundation Programme (September -June) Shahadat Al Thanawaya al- Aa’ma (Qatari Senior School Certificate) with minimum 65% overall and in relevant subjects. Candidates who narrowly miss the academic entry requirements may be considered subject to interview. FastTrack International Foundation Programme (January – June) Thanawaya Aa’ma Qatari (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) with minimum 75% overall and in relevant subjects. Candidates who narrowly miss the academic entry requirements may be considered subject to interview.
Undergraduate (Bachelors)	GCE A levels (or equivalent). Offers can vary depending on the course but are typically in the range of 104 - 128 UCAS tariff points. Applicants with a recognised International Foundation Year will also be considered. Postgraduate (Masters)	Degree equivalent to UK Honours bachelor’s degree (2:2 minimum). The average grades depend on the course chosen, with the minimum for some courses being a completed Bachelor's degree with a grade of 2.93 or higher. PG English Language Requirements
Research (PhD)	Ordinarily you will need a strong grade from your Bachelors degree (2:1 equivalent or above), and/or a Masters degree. You will also need to write a comprehensive research proposal as part of your application. It is advised to identify a potential supervisor in advance.

Aberystwyth International Scholarship (Undergraduate)	International students applying for their undergraduate programme will be eligible for a £2,000 reduction in tuition fees for each year of their studies at Aberystwyth University. Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship Exam (Undergraduate)	The Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship Exam offers up to £6,000 in tuition discounts, with £2,000 per year for the top 20% of students who pass two exams.
