Ymchwil

Mae prif bynciau ymchwil Gareth ym maes seicoleg gymdeithasol gymwysedig, ac yn enwedig y dull o ddeall prosesau grŵp ac ymddygiad rhwng grwpiau sy’n seiliedig ar hunaniaeth gymdeithasol. Mae Gareth wedi archwilio ei ddiddordebau ymchwil gan ddefnyddio grwpiau yn y byd go iawn, megis dilynwyr chwaraeon. Ymhlith diddordebau ymchwil eraill Gareth mae dylanwad hunaniaeth gymdeithasol ar y Rhyngrwyd.

Bywgraffiad

Gareth joined the psychology department as a lecturer in psychology in September, 2007 and awarded his PhD from Glamorgan University in 2009, where he had previously been working as a research assistant and part-time lecturer in psychology.
