Aberystwyth University offers a range of services and facilities specifically for students. We provide these services and facilities to support students' socially, to support their well-being and future lives.
The library facilities and study spaces on campus are all located within a close proximity of each other. Hugh Owen Library is situated at the heart of Penglais Campus, The Physical Science Library further down the campus and even The National Library of Wales is just a minute walk away. There are also lounges in both Cwrt Mawr and Rosser accommodation areas.

Whether you're a new student, existing student or postgraduate, our Careers Service offers vital advice from professional and experienced staff members to help with employment or even just some CV improvement. The Careers Service is located on the ground floor of the Student Welcome Centre. Meetings are available via appointment or walk-ins.

Disability & Learning Support
The University offers disability and learning support for students with long-standing physical/mental health conditions or a specific learning difference. We aim for an inclusive curriculum accessible to all, adapted accommodation, and access to learning areas which are equipped with computers, special hardware, additional software and laptop access. We can offer you advice on individual examination arrangements and enabling technology so that you can reach your full potential and get the good results you deserve.

Hugh Owen Library is the University's main library and is located in the heart of Penglais campus. It offers the most studying facilities including:
- Four group study rooms (8 people max.)
- Six glazed carrels (4 people max.)
- The Hermann Ethé Room (18 people max.)
- The Joy Welch Room (8 people max.)
- Over useable 100 computers
- Printing, photocopying, scanning
- Wi-Fi

Students' Union
Students' Union
Aberystwyth's Students' union are committed to preparing students for their next adventure, helping students to be as happy and healthy as possible and growing together with students as an Aber family. Our Students' Union helps students to meet new people and make new friends by offering over 100 student sports clubs and societies, including a Postgraduate Students Association, academic societies and a chance to start your own group.

The National Library of Wales is located slightly under our Penglais campus with a view out over Cardigan Bay. The Library's mission statement is to make our culture and heritage accessible to all to learn, research and enjoy.
