Overview
Develop your experience of working from life and use a broad range of drawing styles and techniques thus helping to build and develop your individual style. Teaching will be based on more expressive approaches and personal responses to feelings and memory.
Programme
The course will cover:
- Thumb nail sketches
- Composition skills
- Working in large and small scale
- Exploration of media
- Frottage Group critiques
- Exploration of style using contemporary artists as a starting block for themed projects
Learning Outcomes
- Plan, produce, document and present a folio of work.
- Show effective use of line, tone, texture, mark making and composition.
- Use material from primary and secondary sources to execute works in the portfolio.

- Diary - 20%
- Portfolio - 80%
