Yes you can, but you will be required to log in with your AU username. Your comment can still be made anonymously - we do not collect your details via the login process.
What happens to my comment?
Your comments are read by us here at the Tell US Now team, we then pass comments on to the relevant Head of Department or Manager in charge of services. Depending on the nature of the comment we might pass it on to more senior levels of the University management. The person who receives the comment will considers your submission, if appropriate decisions are made on what actions to take and they produce a response. We then send this response to you if you provide your contact details.
On a departmental, faculty and institution level we analyse the comments and these comments along with other data inform the University on how we are doing in certain areas. These comments also feed into the University strategy.
Are comments anonymous?
Yes, they can be. If you wish to provide comments anonymously then simply leave the name and email address options empty when filling out the form. This ensures your comment will be kept anonymous.
However, we will not be able to reply directly to you if you don’t provide us with contact details. It is possible we can publish your comment and the response to our feedback pages, but only if you have ticked the box agreeing to this whilst filling out the form.
How long does it take to get a response?
We aim to respond to all comments within 5 working days (3 working day during the National Student Survey period). Unfortunately some comments may require longer than 5 days to fully resolve but we will keep you informed of progress with your comment.
Can I use Tell Us Now to pass on compliments or thanks?
Yes of course! We love to hear about things that have made your time here at Aberystwyth a fantastic experience. If there’s a lecturer who has helped above and beyond or the Library staff have been especially welcoming please let us know. At Aberystwyth we love to celebrate good practice and we’ll be sure to pass your comments on, it’s always great to hear.
If I have received a response to my comment, can I follow up on this response?
Yes of course, if you wish to reply to any response you received you can by replying to the response you receive from Tell Us Now. You may however choose to reply directly to your Department or Faculty if they provided you with the response. The choice is yours.
