Lucy Tedd was recently awarded an Outstanding Service Award by the Emerald Literati Network at a dinner held in London to mark the occasion of her retirement as Editor of 'Program: electronic library and information systems'. The award was presented for her work as Editor of the journal for over 20 years and for a significant contribution to the development of scholarly research in the field of digital librarianship.

'Program: electronic library and information systems' is a refereed journal which covers all aspects of the management and use of information technology in libraries and archives, museums and galleries, information centres and the information industry in general.

Speaking of the award, Lucy said, "I've greatly enjoyed my time as Editor and found it to be of great help in my teaching and research.  It has enabled links to be made with authors from all over the world."
