Inclusive Accommodation Offer for International Students beginning their course in the 2020/2021 academic year
We are delighted to offer international (non UK/EU domiciled) applicants to undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree schemes an Inclusive Accommodation Offer. If you are accepted to study at Aberystwyth University, the normal tuition fees for the course will include your accommodation costs.
What does this mean?
This means that if you accept the accommodation allocated to you, it will be at no additional cost to your tuition fees for the duration of your course (as long as you remain a full-time, full fee-paying student) and subject to the normal regulations concerning accommodation licences and application deadlines each year. The offer applies to accommodation which is equivalent to Cwrt Mawr Price Band 1 self-catered accommodation (length of licence applies).
Who is eligible to receive the offer?
All full-fee paying international students beginning their studies on an undergraduate programme, or a postgraduate taught programme (including those on pre-University English language programmes leading to enrolment at the University) in the 2020/2021 academic year will automatically receive the inclusive accommodation offer.
What if I want to live in different University-managed accommodation?
If you would prefer to live in accommodation which is not designated by the Accommodation Office as being part of the inclusive offer, you can instead opt to receive a £2,000 a year discount off any other University managed accommodation, subject to availability and application deadlines.
How do I apply?
All you need to do is apply to study at Aberystwyth University by 1 August 2020 and be accepted onto the course. Full details of how accommodation will be allocated will be published on our website in early 2020.
