Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this module students should be able to:

Critically evaluate relevant principles and practices in relation to early years provision.
Form coherent arguments in relation to the principles and practices of early years provision.
Demonstrate a competent use of relevant source material.
Brief description
This module aims to provide students with a detailed knowledge of the range of services available to young children and their families. It also aims to develop awareness of the impact of policy and social issues on provision.
Content

Lecture and seminar 4: Foundation Phase in Wales

Lecture and seminar 8: Training and qualifications for early childhood practitioners
Lecture and seminar 9: Inequality in early childhood services
