Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module, students should be able to:

Outline and describe the general anatomical structure of the musculo-skeletal system.

Describe the basic gross anatomy of the muscular and skeletal systems.

Demonstrate knowledge of the function and control of the musculo-skeletal systems.

Brief description

The module aims to provide students with an introduction to and understanding of the structure and function of the musculo-skeletal systems. To provide to the students a basic understanding and knowledge of the structure and function of these physiological systems, so as to facilitate understanding of their role in the application of Sport Science.
