Canlyniadau Dysgu

Wedi cwblhau'r modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fedru:

  1. Identify the structures and functions of the anatomy of the human body
  2. Describe the key theories and principles that explain the human body functions and its movement
  3. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding, and, the relationship between the disciplines that underpin human structure and function

Disgrifiad cryno

This module will show that understanding the anatomy of the body is crucial when evaluating how the body moves and performs. From individual muscles, to individual joints, to whole body movement, understanding and quantifying movement is important in health, exercise and sport performance. Knowing the function of muscles and joints will enable you to apply that to specific movements. The next step is to quantify these movements and obtain real world data. The recent advances of wearable technology in this regard is creating even more insights and applications. The contents of this module are aimed to showcase the variety of disciplines that are based on kinesiological/biomechanical principles and focuses on how this is applied.
