- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of how filmmakers communicate and innovate through cinematography
- Apply advanced technical skills to explore aesthetic and stylistic enquiry, and utilise creative problem solving
- Engage in best industry practice and protocols
- Analyse the context of cinematography in the wider world of filmmaking
Disgrifiad cryno
Building upon the second year Film Craft module, in this module students will further explore filmmaking from the perspective of the visual language of filmmaking. Combining theory and practice, sessions will provide advanced hands-on exploration of cinematography to allow students to further explore the visual aspects of film language. The module will put emphasis on industry roles and entry level pathways into the camera and lighting departments.
Cynnwys
Through lectures, seminars and practical workshops students will develop their creative and technical skills. Students will also gain understanding of industry conversations, practice and engage with the different roles available within the relevant departments.
