A Welsh Speaking Environment
Central to the activity is UMCA, the Welsh language students’ union, which organises social events and provides student welfare. Cymdeithas y Geltaidd offers rugby, football, hockey and netball teams, and organises rugby trips.
Aelwyd Pantycelyn is well-known for its successful choir, which can often be seen competing at the Urdd or on Côr Cymru on S4C.
There are also opportunities to take part in clog dancing, folk dancing and recitation, and plenty of socialising with it!
