Living in our catered accommodation means you will benefit from the use of our award winning restaurants.
Our only part-catered accommodation is in a dedicated residence for students who are Welsh speakers or learners and want to live in a Welsh speaking environment. If you are not a Welsh speaker or learner but like the idea of a part-catered residence then why not consider our flexible Meal Plan Packages which are available if you are living in any of our self-catered residences.
Coronavirus Update: Due to current circumstances, changes have been made to our service provision to safeguard students, staff and visitors. Please refer to our FAQs for information which is relevant during this time

How does it work?
As a part-catered resident your Aber Card will automatically be credited with money to the equivalent value of breakfast and evening meal 5 days a week in your hall. This meal allowance is taken from your Accommodation Fees and automatically loaded onto your Aber Card, in termly instalments. The allowance is flexible, meaning you can spend it when and where you like on campus in any of our award winning range of restaurants and cafes.
In addition to this, our part-catered hall is equipped with kitchenettes to allow students to prepare basic meals and snacks should they wish. Catered accommodation is a good choice if you do not know how to cook or you do not want to worry about cooking your own food.
