  3. Critically examine ethical positions surrounding working with children.
  4. Evaluate resources available to practitioners to support professional learning.

Disgrifiad cryno

This module aims to provide students with a range of insights into relevant and necessary aspects of working with children. Students will be expected to acquire knowledge of the key concepts that are central to working with children and they will be expected to examine a range of approaches towards studying practices in various educational settings. All students opting to take this module, will be required to pay for a DBS check.

This module enables students to gain experience of working with children in educational or childcare settings and to apply their skills and knowledge of theory, policy and practice gained in other modules on the Childhood Studies programme.
