Wedi cwblhau'r modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fedru:

1. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the production process and the roles and responsibilities of those involved.
2. Develop an understanding of the development and financing structures used in the film industry.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the pre-production process.
4. Demonstrate good team skills whilst working in a group.
5. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the legal processes relevant to the setting up of a film.

Disgrifiad cryno

Getting a film off the ground, fully financed, shot, delivered and sold is a long and complicated process. You will learn the fundamentals of film production on this course. The Module will give an overall understanding of the business of film production by following the film production cycle from acquiring the original rights to the underlying material, the legal and financing process through the pre production and shoot to its completion, its delivery, both physical and legal, the sales and marketing and distribution of the film. The course will provide a unique overview of the whole production process. You will start learning the basics of film production through the film making workshops.

Cyfathrebu	Managing the filmmaking process is all about communication. Effective communications skills - oral, written and visual, will be developed throughout the module.
Datblygu personol a chynllunio gyrfa	The module articulates production work in professionally defined roles, it establishes on a basic level the professional procedures in production.
Datrys Problemau	Filmmaking is a continuous process of problem-solving. Students are tested on this individually and as part of a team.
Gwaith Tim	Seminar work will be divided into groups to resolve production issues based on ‘real life’ incidents. These groups will be required to work effectively as a team to deliver the group based exercises.
Gwella dysgu a pherfformiad ei hun	Formative feedback will be provided throughout the module which will help students to improve their own learning and performance.
Rhifedd	Use of professional software packages will develop the ability to interpret statistical and mathematical information.

Sgiliau ymchwil	Students undertake research as part of the seminar program and will be assessed on their ability to identify, locate, evaluate and effectively use their knowledge to apply to the issues that arise.
