Wedi cwblhau'r modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fedru:
- Demonstrate enhanced employability skills such as initiative, communication, independence, planning, presentation and professional deportment.
- Demonstrate an enhanced understanding of contemporary professional working practice and the business environment of the creative industries, and the considerations facing aspiring entrants to that field of production, and the considerations facing aspiring entrants to that field.
- Produce and maintain a professional portfolio for career development and employment.

Work in the Film & Teleision Industries aims to introduce you to the requirements and considerations facing graduates about to enter the media and creative industries, in order to help you bridge the gap between education and post-graduation employment. It helps you to develop greater awareness and first-hand experience of the industries in which you hope to work, as well as enabling you to develop strategies to plan your entry path into those careers. It equips you with the tools necessary to market specific media projects relevant to your specialism and chosen career path, enhances your awareness of business start-up and employment market issues, and seeks to develop your professional 'deportment' and employability.
You will be required to build on your existing knowledge of the creative industries acquired in other modules in order to understand and evaluate the economic, social and cultural challenges facing these industries.

This module is taught through a series of weekly, skills-focused lecture-workshops, introducing you to specific career options and the challenges facing graduates about to enter the media and creative industries. Each week you will learn how to develop your professional portfolio, from essential employability skills to more creative approaches for presenting yourself and your work.

| Cyfathrebu | Communication skills - oral and written - will be developed in the module through written assignments and workshop tasks. Students will also develop communication skills in terms of approaching and engaging with employers and clients. |
